I often wondered why some people are successful at selling and others fail, so I signed up to learn from one of the best. Ruth Badger, who came to fame in the TV show ‘The Apprentice” has made millions for companies she’s worked for, often saving companies from going bust.

Hi John,
You always wander what happens to these ‘Apprentices’ after the show has finshed.
I liked her style on the show, motivating!
Nice blog you have here, hope your enjoying the Alex Jeffreys Course as much as I am.
Keep in touch!
Sean
Hi Sean,
Sorry about the delay in replying, I’d a family vacation booked so I’m over in Thailand listening to the Alex Jeffries module 3 from an Internet Cafe in Hua Hin Thailand.
I’m really enjoying the course and getting just a few comments is a real boost.
The Ruth Badger Training was really good and it was interesting to find similarities between her style of selling and Internet Marketing. She also says it’s about building relationships.
I’ll go through my notes and try and create some posts on her ideas.
Speak to you soon
John
Hi John,

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the feedback, I’m over in Thailand at the moment, so I haven’t got access to the internet. (Pretty bad timing as I want to really press on with Internet Marketing ….. but my kids love it over here).
Amazing! Not clear for me, how offen you updating your one-johntanner.com.
At the moment, I’m on vacation so I’m chilling out and planning how to take the blog forwards. I think I’ll read a few eBooks and let people know the good and the bad.
John,
Wow… Aren’t you connected. Looks like Ruth’s pretty cool.
And business smarts too.
Any tip she gave you, you’d like to share.
Rob
Hi Rob,
Ruth gave a load of good advice. She says that selling is 85% attitude. We did an exercise where we had to list 3 things we liked about a sales pitch and 3 things we disliked. For Example; I don’t like sales people to be arrogant, pushy and not interested in my requirement. All of these traits are down to the attitude of the sales person.
I’m going to write up my notes from the course and share the tips she uses ….. many of which can be transferred into the way we blog and the way we deal with people.
Like Alex says, it’s about good content and building relationships.
I’ll post more updates soon, keep in touch.
John
