When Rich Schefren gave his webinar to Alex Jeffreys students, he emphasised how important it is to separate yourself from the business and identify ways in which the business can run without your daily input.
Rich showed a slide called ‘Step by Step Plan to Freedom’ in which your business was split into three sections:
- Marketing (Customer Attraction, Conversion and Retention)
- Fulfilment (Product Development, Delivery and Improvement)
- Operations (Finance, Human Resources and Systems)
The idea being to identify the processes within the business.
Through ‘process mapping’, it should help you identify better ways of doing things in order to make best use of your time and resources.
I’ve been working to develop some software that is aimed at helping internet marketers improve areas of their fulfilment processes through automation.
To succeed in Internet marketing, we have learned that marketers benefit from having their own product.
We also know that some customers will pay a premium for the same product in a different format.
What I am developing is a web service that helps automate the manufacture and shipping of physical information products such as CD’s and DVD’s.
The idea is to allow marketers to create additional products from their existing digital products, by creating audio CD’s and DVD’s. Not only does this allow more sales revenue to be generated, but it will open up the opportunity to market your products on Amazon and eBay, (where it isn’t possible to sell digital products).
How can this work?
It is possible to use a digital manufacturing company called Kunaki that builds retail quality CD’s and DVD’s (with a bar code & wrapped in cellophane). Their
Software allows you to design and configure artwork for your case, disc, inserts, cover art and contents.
- There are No setup charges minimum orders, commitments, or contracts.
- Orders are drop-shipped to any address.
- Just-in-time production means risk-free, zero warehousing costs.
So what’s the problem?
Kunaki solves the problem of to manufacture and drop ship any orders you receive, but it relies on the seller manually submitting orders to Kunaki.
What have I developed?
I have developed a web service that associates products sold through Papal, eBay and 1ShoppingCart with the product that you have uploaded to your Kunaki account.
Using my software will automate the process of transmitting orders from your website to Kunaki who will fulfil the order for you.
At the moment I’m running some final tests and developing instructions on how to use the software.
Whilst this software will be a subscription service,
I would like to offer free access to the software in return for testimonials and feedback.
I’m going to limit this access, so if you want to create your own physical products and
have customer orders drop shipped by Kunaki, please add a comment asking for the service.

Hey John,
I’ve looked into this Kunaki service myself – it looks good.
It’s also getting more and more popular for managing physical product production and delivery.
Count me in buddy,
Andrew.

I already buy Kunaki I think more than years ago. But unfortunately still not making full use of it until now.
Hopefully with your new software will help me better.
Hi Syed,
I’m just finishing some tests and adding some help instructions and then I’ll send you your login details.
If you’re selling information products, this software will help you automate the process.

Hey John,
I think your product is just what the market needs! Your timing couldn’t be better.
I am in the process of getting my products ready, and I’d love to give your program a try in exchange for a great testimonial.
Are you planning on having an affiliate program for your program? If so, I’d be interested in that as well.

Hi Jay,
My plan is to give people a free trial period in order to get feedback and make sure the product is as easy to use as possible.
Then the product will be sold as a subscription service and I will be creating an affiliate program.

I did not know about Kunaki, but it looks like something that could be useful.
Your software looks like an essential piece to implementing this product efficiently. I will definitely look into this further. Thanks! -Norene

Hey John:
Kunaki is pretty cool! I’ve used it and sold several dozens of CD’s through ebay and my web site. Having software that automates the order submission would be very cool!
Got an idea about how to cut town on the original production time with Kunaki (upload is pretty huge and long…)?
Cheers,
Thomas

Hey Thomas,
I’ll send you your log in details for my software via email, I’m interested to hear what you think of it.
You’re right about the upload to Kunaki taking a long time, but that’s a one off task providing all the information needed to manufacture your products.
Send2Kunaki is not related to Kunaki, so I can’t help with that problem.
My software is geared to automating the order and manufacturing process.

Hey John,

Hi JM
I’ve sent you an email to request details of your name and company so I can set up a trial account for you.

Sounds wonderful and intersting. Something I, and many others have been looking for. Please count me in. Thanks
Hi John. I am interested in trying your software. Let me know what I have to do?
